Clare Valley Riesling
This family owned vineyard s managed in accordance with sustainable farming practices. The result has the grapes for this dry Riesling growing on low-yielding vines, on the high slopes of the Clare Valley (about 500 metres above sea level).
The fruit was processed in a number of individual parcels, with each block of vines picked as it reached its best ripeness and flavour in the challenging conditions. Each parcel was then fermented separately allowing us to vary winemaking and processing techniques to suit the characteristics of each, and giving us the opportunity to enhance individual highlights, before blending immediately prior to bottling.
On the nose it has lively fresh lime, acacia and linden blossom aromatics.
The palate has tight, stoney minerality with intense lemon drop, citrus flavours.
A refreshing, crisp acidity provides strengh for a dry, lingering finish.
Drink now with fish, seafood or white meat dishes or cellar for up to 10 years.
